This site sets no cookies when you visit it, runs no tag manager, and writes nothing to your browser’s storage.

The services we work with do set cookies. When you follow a link from here to book a table with SevenRooms, or pay or order through one of the services listed below, that service sets its own cookies on its own site, under its own policy.

The site counts page views, where visitors arrived from, and how often the Book a table button is pressed and whereabouts on the page, using Vercel Analytics. It sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser, and builds no profile: there is no identifier that could recognise you on a second visit or on anybody else’s website. The site itself is hosted by Vercel.

The enquiry and private hire forms ask for your name, email address, and optionally a phone number, when you are thinking of, how many of you there are, and a message. What you send is recorded and emailed to us so we can reply.

Joining our list asks for your name and email address only. We send you one email to confirm it, and use the address to tell you what is coming up. Reply to any of those emails and we will take you off.

Tables are booked through SevenRooms, not on this site. What you give when you book is collected by SevenRooms and handled under its own privacy policy. Nothing you give us is passed to anyone for advertising.

Enquiries and private hire requests: you have asked us something, and replying, and arranging what you asked about, is our legitimate interest and a step towards an agreement with you.

Our list: your consent, given when you join and confirm. You can withdraw it at any time, and we stop.

What you send through an enquiry or private hire form is kept for twelve months after we last hear from you, then deleted.

Your name and email address stay on our list until you ask to come off it, and are removed when you do.

• —Google (Gmail and Google Workspace): the inbox your emails and form messages arrive in.
• —Resend: sends the emails this site's forms produce, to us and, when you join a list, to you, and keeps the list of who has joined.
• —SevenRooms: table bookings.
• —StoreKit: ordering ahead for collection. What you order, your contact details and your payment go to StoreKit, on its own site and under its own privacy policy.
• —Square: payments.
• —Dojo: card payments.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Email hellogoodmeasuresommerset@gmail.com and we will reply within a month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.
